 mes\, and friendship. Jersey Mike's is providing sandwiches\, chips\, drin
 ks\, and dessert. This in-person event will occur rain or shine! The cost 
 to attend this event is $5.00 per person\; children 3 and under are free.
 \n\nAt noon\, DSNMC leadership will welcome you to the event\, share updat
 es\, and launch the 2024 Step UP Walk. Lunch will be served from 12:15 to 
 1:30.\n\nActivities such as games\, coloring\, bubbles\, a moon bounce and
  more will be offered from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. We needs lots of volunteer
 s to assist with these activities. Adults\, self-advocates and teens needi
 ng SSL hours can volunteer at the time of registration\, using the sign up
  genius.\n\nWe expect over 200 people to attend the picnic\, and it will b
 e a wonderful time to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. We hav
 e a large covered shelter with picnic tables and we encourage families to 
 bring chairs and picnic blankets. Due to the large turnout\, the picnic sh
 elter does not have enough seating for all our guests. We will have water 
 bottles available and we encourage you to bring your own reusable water bo
 ttles to be environmentally friendly.\n\nBohrer Park is located 506 S Fred
 erick Avenue\, Gaithersburg\, MD. The park is accessible by public transpo
 rtation\, and has a large parking lot and restrooms.\n\nThe final day to p
 urchase tickets will be Tuesday\, June 4th. Tickets will NOT be available
