Description: Join your friends in person for an Art Stream class at Main Street on Sunday, October 9th, from 3:00 - 4:30. The self-advocates will work on speeches they will present at the Step UP for Down Syndrome celebration on October 15th. While the self-advocates are working on communication skills, there will be an additional room available for parents to congregate and socialize. Mary Ann Dawedeit will be on hand to welcome self-advocates and parents!
This class is limited to 15 participants.
Art Stream requires proof of full vaccination (at least 2 weeks past your second dose), and you must wear a mask and social distance. They recommend a high filtration mask such as an N95 or KN95 mask instead of a cloth mask. These are generally available for free at libraries, drug stores, and county facilities. ArtStream staff will be masked for the duration of the class.
