Matthew Mullin
Interim Program and Events Coordinator
Matthew Mullin shares over twenty-years of non-profit experience with the DSNMC community as the Interim Program and Events Coordinator. He is thrilled to bring his deep background in programming, events, advocacy, fundraising, communications and operations to the talented team at DSNMC. A common thread in his work has been a commitment to inclusion, creating equitable opportunities and removing barriers to success so that every person is connected with and valued in their community.
A graduate of Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio, with a degree in Political Science and History, Matt was drawn to Washington, DC as an intern with The Washington Center and fell in love with public service and the many forms it can take. His career has largely been focused on economic development and opportunity prior to joining DSNMC. He recently obtained his Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives.
Matt has been in the Washington metro area for over twenty years and is originally from Cleveland, a place he still loves and tries to visit as often as possible. He currently lives in Potomac with his two big and loud hunting dogs (Kibo & Gambit) while his husband (Mikee) is stationed overseas with the Navy. When not working, he can most often be found eating and then napping or, when feeling productive, volunteering with the USO, attempting to garden, building something out of wood, or making and then rapidly consuming bread.
