Jason Lu
Transitioning Youth and Adult Intern
Jason Lu recently graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Chemistry. He plans to pursue a career in medicine and is especially interested in working with diverse and underserved communities.
Jason has been involved in several experiences centered on education and advocacy. Through the PROMISE program, he worked closely with students with autism to support social interaction and engagement. He also participated in a partnership with the Maryland Down Syndrome Advocacy Coalition (MDAC), contributing to disability advocacy efforts focused on improving equity and access to services.
Jason is excited to intern with the Down Syndrome Network of Montgomery County and is looking forward to advocating for and supporting individuals with Down syndrome.
