Board Member

Kikelomo Ayorinde serves as an adult sibling member on the DSNMC board. She graduated with a double bachelors of science degree in early childhood education and special education from the University of Maryland, College Park in May 2026. She has become certified to teach Pre-K - 3rd grade in the state of Maryland. Kike's middle sister has Down syndrome, and through her, Kike has experience working one-on-one with young adults with disabilities as a peer mentor for DSNMC. Kike was also the Edlavitch DCJCC's vocational volunteer coordinator for two summers, and senior camp counselor for both neurotypical and disabled campers. When she's not teaching, you can find her as an assistant coach for Cheer Extreme Allstars DMV Cheer Abilities team Supernovas, and for Special Olympics Montgomery County Track & Field Team! Kike looks forward to continuing her time on the board, and providing insight on what it means to be an adult sibling to someone with a disability!
