Each day until World Down Syndrome Day on March 21, we are highlighting a wonderful member of our community as part of our 21 Days of Ability campaign. Today we feature Desmond, age 20 months!

"I am working on standing! I love to point at pictures in my books, play musical instruments, and do hand and arm motions to my favorite songs. I enjoy feeding myself (sometimes I stuff my face like Daddy). I am building my spoken and sign language vocabulary. My current favorite words are 'dada,' 'mama,' 'dog,' 'done,' 'Jesus,' 'this,' and 'more.' I melt hearts when I wave and blow kisses."
