Become a Sponsor
DSNMC has a variety of opportunities for businesses and organizations to promote their services while supporting the local Down syndrome community. 100% of the funds raised support programming, resources and advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Our events attract long-time supporters, new families and friends, as well as many people who have merely been touched by an individual with Down syndrome. When members of the Down syndrome community see businesses supporting individuals with disabilities, their consumer behavior is affected in a positive way as both a customer and fan.
We love our mission and we love those we serve, but we couldn’t accomplish all that we do without those who financially support us and help provide the fuel for our work. To those of you who are considering becoming one of our Corporate Sponsors, we hope that you will thoughtfully consider one or more of our sponsorship opportunities.

Your Sponsorship Helps...
EDUCATE & INFORM
Our Parent/Guardian Speaker Series, Grupo Latino, and annual Techniques for Success Educator Conference provide educational opportunities to families and practitioners on topics related to Down syndrome.
REACH OUT
Through our New Families Outreach Initiative, we partner with local hospitals, doctors, and early childhood intervention practitioners to welcome, support and provide resources to families who have received either a prenatal or postnatal diagnosis of Down syndrome.
CULTIVATE CONNECTIONS
Social events like parent gatherings, dances, picnics, karaoke night, the teen hangout and play groups keep our community connected. Through these connections, life-long friendships are often formed among people with Down syndrome and between families.
FOSTER COLLABORATION
Partnering with schools, organizations and corporations make it possible to effectively support families in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process, offer a Career and College Readiness Program for high school students and strengthen our medical outreach initiative.
EMPOWER & ADVOCATE
In collaboration with nonprofits and state agencies, we advocate on behalf of people with Down syndrome at the local, state and national levels. Our award-winning Positively Speaking workshops teach teens and adults with Down syndrome effective communication and self-advocacy skills.
But that is not all!
Are you interested in exhibiting at Step UP or one of our other events? Being an exhibitor will give you excellent opportunities to promote your business or products! If interested, please contact Brooke Levey at brooke@dsnmc.org.
On behalf of the many people with Down syndrome and their families living in Montgomery County and surrounding areas, we would like to thank our sponsors! The generous support from these organizations (scrolling below) allows us to continue our activities in advocacy, education, and support for local families.
