Hello New Families!

Our September playgroup will be held at We Rock the Spectrum - Gaithersburg.

We Rock the Spectrum – Gaithersburg was founded to provide a place for children of all ability levels to play and grow together. We have found all children can benefit from our uniquely designed sensory equipment that is specifically designed to aid children with sensory processing disorders.

Join DSNMC on Sunday, September 8th from 2:00pm - 3:00pm for an afternoon of fun. This event is open to children with Down syndrome between the ages of 1 - 8, and siblings, 12 and under. Only 25 children are permitted to register for this event.

After registering for the event, you must also register at We Rock the Spectrum and sign their liability waiver - this can be done HERE. These forms must be completed before you arrive on September 8th.

All adults attending this event must wear socks in the gym. Children can wear socks, non-slip socks, or be barefoot. Children who wear orthotics can wear their shoes in the gym.

Únase a DSNMC el domingo 8 de septiembre de 2:00 p. m. a 3:00 p. m. para una tarde de diversión. Este evento está abierto a niños con síndrome de Down de entre 1 y 8 años y hermanos de 12 años o menos. Sólo se permite la inscripción de 25 niños para este evento.
Después de registrarte para el evento, también debes registrarte en We Rock the Spectrum y firmar su exención de responsabilidad; esto se puede hacer AQUÍ. Estos formularios deben completarse antes de llegar el 8 de septiembre.
Todos los adultos que asistan a este evento deberán usar calcetines en el gimnasio. Los niños pueden usar calcetines, calcetines antideslizantes o estar descalzos. Los niños que usan aparatos ortopédicos pueden usar sus zapatos en el gimnasio.
